A Gates Foundation program that reviews scientific study protocols for informativeness and gives researchers recommendations to strengthen them.

Their review-and-recommendation process generates a steady stream of data that needs cleaning, organizing, and clear reporting. Separately, a lot of their tracking lived in large, interconnected Excel workbooks and worklogs updated by hand.
